Description
Our award-winning and best selling rosé. On the nose, aromas of strawberry, raspberry, and floral. On the palate, dry, crisp, fresh with excellent acidity and further red berry notes with a hint of minerality. This wine will pair well with appetizers, seafood, or can even be enjoyed alone as an aperitif. A great summer wine to be enjoyed on a beautiful sunny day.
About the Winery
The Chateau is situated in the village of Ollieres itself, ~18 miles east of Provence and is owned by the Rouy family. Wine making has taken place at the estate for over 200 years and there are 35 hectares of vines mostly planted on clay-limestone soil at an altitude of 3000 feet above sea level and the family is currently replanting 14 hectares of vines. “Agriculture raisonnee” methods are employed, organic manures are used and harvesting is carried out by hand.
